No Singing in the Rain

We are sorry people, but there’ll be no singing in the rain tonight.

Due to the horrible weather forecast – not the light and intermittent showers we were anticipating which we good have coped with – and the consistent rain all day, no one really wants to play an instrument or sing from a soggy song sheet tonight.  And I’m sure all candles would be extinguished and all drinks would be watered down in the effort which would be terrible!
